When you don’t speak the same language… Newborn Session

Art is a universal language and photography is art.

I’m super thankful for technology like Google Translate sometimes.

Have you ever used it? Communicating before this session was a little tricky since neither mom or I spoke each other’s language, but thanks to Google translate and her SIL, we made it work! I’m so glad that mom was patient and gave me grace while we emailed back and forth with the help a relative who could translate and translation technology.

Once we got into the session, the language barrier didn’t seem to matter anymore. Photographing families just being themselves and loving each other is a beautiful thing. If you’ve ever done a session with me, you know that I’ll always put you in flattering poses and make you feel amazing – sometimes without even saying words that you need to understand.

It was a privilege to meet and capture the memories of this stunning family.
